We had a very successful week last week. We had our first Art session, where we experimented with lots of different art mediums, based on the art patterns from Niue. You can see us in action above.

We also had a Science performance in the hall, and enjoyed basketball as a class on the courts on Friday.

Daerue and Phoenix were both celebrated for showing manaakitanga - kindness, empathy, and responsibility towards caring for others. They received certificates in assembly for their wonderful treatment of others.

There was more manaakitanga shown today at school - Levi made a makeshift sling for his injured classmate to rest his arm in out of his jumper, despite the chilly weather. Others supported him as he recovered after his fall.

    Gidday Room 8 I think that the art was really fun and my favourite art was the one with the rubber bands and strings.I read the bottom and thought it was very kind of Levi to make a makeshift sling for his classmate.
    What was you favourite art station?

    Kia ora,Room 8 i think you had fun on making the art also my favorite art is that,One that keeps on going in cicrles but i think its really kind of Levi to make a makeshift sling for

    Hello Rm 8, Zejm here.
    I really liked the the art thing that we did with Sara because we did the Swedish pattern.
    I also liked the art that she showed us because she did work in different places like... The rainbow bump, The work stairs that have rainbow patterns, The pink water tank and the flag wall. Have you guys ever seen one of her public arts? blog ya Later :)
