  2. Kia ora Room 8,
we have to cross a road to go tour playground!
This is only one of 3 school sin the whole of NZ who have to do this.
All of us go over the crossing 4 times. Some of us go 6 or more as we have to cross to enter the school and go home.
Mrs Torrie will put a photo on our blog later today for you to see our crossing.
We have to be thinking about road safety all the time.

  3. Kia Ora Room 8,

Wow! Your school, I am sure, must have a really good understanding of road safety.

We have a crossing outside our school, and many of our Year 6's are road patrollers, which shows real leadership and responsibility.

The road many students cross leads onto the Auckland motorway which leads to the airport, so it is a very busy road.

Stay safe, and we look forward to seeing your crossing!
