Hi room 8 Jarvis here. Jacks mum helps George by putting a bandage/batman sheet on his elbow after he fell down the big tall roro tree. Then she built him a floor board so he could sit down comfortable. She also gave him jacks favorite pillow when he was younger (jack was upset). She said He couldn't climb up the tree to his mother and father so she kept him company
jacks mum helped the giant called George by giving it a place to sleep and the giant had a saw elbow jacks mum covered it up with a sheet.jacks mum knew he did not or will not hurt her so she helped and made George feel better jack thought he was going to eat the Morepork. THE END BYE FROM GEORGE.

Jacks Mum Helped the giant by building him a platform to sleep on and she wrapped his elbow with Jacks old batman sheet and she has been doing his washing and feeding him and has been keeping him company at night.I think that she has been helping George because he's young and doesn't know much and can't do everything himself . And she doesn't seem to be afraid of George the giant because he his about Tim and jacks age and his keeping her company has well as she is to him and can't just leave him by him self and his young and friendly

Hola!:) Charlotte here from Room8! In the book kauri team has been reding tim and jack think there is a giant in the tree where the ruru is, the like the ruru because it helps them sleep. Jack and Tim think the giant will eat the ruru, They find clue that there is a giant because there's a giant t-shirt,and more! Soon the see the giant with jacks mum. They go out and the giants name is george. He is nice and he also like the ruru cause it helps him sleep, he wanted to see it and fell down the tree. So jacks mum helped him because he hurt himself. She also put floor boards down,she made a bed in the tree, and she put the giants arm in a bandage/jacks old batman sheets, because it is sore and scraped badly. Turns out George is just a kid who couldn't get home. Jack asked some questions to george like, Did you just come down to eat the ruru! Jacks mum is not afraid of george because he is just a boy the round about same age as jack and tim!(the second answer is in the writing) Byeee
