Our successful evening!

We are so proud of each other, and our school, after our first production performances yesterday.

Zac shone in his role as Smooth, and our class routine flowed perfectly, with just the right level of energy, and improved timing.

We enjoyed hanging out in our class last night during the show, where we settled in for a movie and popcorn.

We look forward to all coming together tonight for one last performance, and we are excited to see some of our families in the audience.

Please remember to be in Room 8 at 5.30pm, ready in your costume, and with a snack.

Thank you to all of our families for being so supportive!

    1. Hi Vincey! I gave some of the initial ideas for the dance routine to get us started - then the students really took lead and made the movements their own! Room 24 were really impressive too, with their tuatara routine to the song 'How Bizzare.' Did you enjoy being part of the production? Do you see yourself taking opportunities to act on stage, maybe at intermediate and high school, or even as part of a theatre group? Thanks.

    1. Hi Jeremy, our Room 8 students sure looked sharp in their business people clothes, and very grown-up too. We loved your routine, you did an amazing job, and Ms Judd chose a very cool song. Our song was çalled 'Walkie Talkie Man' by a band called Steriogram. What part of the show did you enjoy most? Looking forward to hearing from you.

  3. Gidday Room 8 I really liked your dance for the Fresh And Smooth play. I found it funny that all of your students in your class were wearing suit and ties and hold phones and coffee cups. Our class had a orange t-shirt and black pants. What did you think of our performance and could you see all of us well? How long did it take for you to make the beehive out cardboard?

    1. Hi Angus, thanks for messaging through. Room 8 looked great dressed as businessmen and businesswomen. Your costumes were great - really eye-catching and it looked so impressive to see such a large group of you all looking the same. We loved your performance, it was cleverly performed, and most of you were very recognisable. The Beehive took about five days - we were totally stuck on where to go next with its design, and luckily one of our parents stepped in and led our design team to complete it! What was your favourite part of the performance? Do you see a future for yourself potentially, in performing arts? Maybe at high school? Thanks!

    1. Thanks Freya! We are super proud of each other, and our school also. I think the parents really enjoyed it too, based on their reactions on each night. We really enjoyed watching you guys on stage in your role as foods in the fridge - your lines were clearly and expressively delivered. Congratulations to you and Room 25 on playing your role so successfully.
