An update for Week 9!

Congratulations to Byesion, Mila, Charlotte and Alamalia who were all recognised for their effort and achievements in assembly last week.

Liberty and Marcella from Room 8 also impressed our community with their market stall, the Fairy Cafe, where delicious baking and coffee was on offer! Great initiative, girls, and awesome to see you learning more about running a business and working with finances.

Have a safe and happy week, everyone.

Recognising our high achievers, a reminder - and a blast from the past

Throwback Thursday!

We showed incredible resilience to continue our learning despite some setbacks earlier in the year. Great to see the same faces still working hard to achieve their learning goals.

Please remember soup forms need to come back by Friday.

Congratulations to Zac and Carlos, who were recognised for excelling in our class, during the Kauri Team Assembly last Thursday.
We are looking forward to seeing who earns this week's certificates later today.

Blog Ponder - Class Novel

Please record your responses, in detail, in the comments!

Remember our writing focus this week is on structure:

Beginning - explain what the novel is about, and who Maddy is.

Middle - Explain what Maddy has learned, and provide evidence.

End - Sum up the key question - Overall, Maddy has learned...

Our successful evening!

We are so proud of each other, and our school, after our first production performances yesterday.

Zac shone in his role as Smooth, and our class routine flowed perfectly, with just the right level of energy, and improved timing.

We enjoyed hanging out in our class last night during the show, where we settled in for a movie and popcorn.

We look forward to all coming together tonight for one last performance, and we are excited to see some of our families in the audience.

Please remember to be in Room 8 at 5.30pm, ready in your costume, and with a snack.

Thank you to all of our families for being so supportive!

We have had a very busy past two weeks, preparing for the school production!

Thank you so much to all of our families who have supported our performers in preparing costumes and helping us learn our speaking roles. We are proud of our performance and we look forward to showcasing this next week.

A special congratulations to our very own Zac, who has stepped up into one of the lead roles!

A huge thank you to Lou, who helped us with the creation of some of our props also.

We also celebrated the staff members who help us out this week. We designed and signed special cards for Iunisi, Judy and Ms Johns to acknowledge all that they do to help us.
